Reikishi’s backstory

“Five years ago, driven by curiosity and a mischievous spirit, I, Reikishi, a kitsune, chose to walk the path of a human healer. My mission was simple: to understand the heart of humanity in its most vulnerable state. In this form,

I’ve witnessed the depth of human suffering, the cruelty of greed, and the despair of the forgotten. Reikishi examined a frail baby. The mother looks on with tired, hopeful eyes. “This child… at nine months, should be thriving. Yet, he weighs no more than a newborn.”

“I had served, healed, and shared in their sorrow. But my time here was drawing to a close. My quest for understanding was to end, or so I thought.”

Reikishi stumbles upon an ancient, glowing portal hidden in an alley, its light contrasting with the darkness of the town. “What magic is this? It’s not of my world, nor of the human realm I’ve come to know.”

As he looked at this new world a realization set in. It had the potential to bridge the gap of financial inequity globally. It’s ease of use and decentralized nature is the perfect gateway for the marginalized to gain prosperity.
